Hi folks, excuse me if this has been covered before. I have a decision that I’m not sure how it could affect ßedŷ my car. I have purchased new alloys and tyres. They’re 19s 8.5 at the front & with wider 9.5 at the back. Can’t recall exactly all round but one of the tyre specs are 225 35R 19 88Y (not sure if they’re front or rear). I’m not at home so can’t see the other tyre specs.
My query is, I’m concerned they may rub on the wheel arch Liners, so thinking of removing them all? Also I’ve been on the verge of getting new Coilovers & lowering it a touch. So thinking it may look nice when looking in that area without the liners present seeing the inner workings as I’m getting new discs & Calipers so it just may look cool with it all showing?
Knowing this would be a vulnerable spot, I would regularly look after the after the wheel arch area!
Would removing the liners expose the Coilovers & look good?
Would removing the liners just cause real problems down the line?
Could it fail MOT?
I’m looking to get another vehicle for carrying my equipment so if I qmay think about only driving my Z3 on dry days to stop the build up of road muck, I’m in Central London so no country roads dealing with mud & stones!
Anwways, that's my query. I really appreciate your advice my friends. Apologies if this has been covered I looked but couldn’t see an post 2ith what I was querying.
Many Thanks!
