Thought i would post this up to see how folk clean there wheels so that we can all benefit from the different ways.
Me i use a fibre mitt to wash them then use a very soft bristle brush to get to the nooks and crannies then i have a slim micro pouch with a firm bristle bush i insert then i can get to the inside of my wheels, then i use the wash mitt again and towel dry with micro cloth. I also apply Poorboys Wheel sealant every 2 to 3 months

I give mine a good spray with a 50% dilution of Bilberry wheel cleaner and leave it on for a while. They they get the wash mitt once I've finished the bodywork. The spokes are wide enough to get the wash mitt behind and in to the dish behind.

Mine we waxed just after I refurbed them, but haven't done it since. This is usually enough for my wheels, but they will get a "wheels off" clean every few months. Really ought to look in to getting a decent sealant to make life easier...

Mine never get dirty, only dusty so i dust them off and use marine polish,(they use on boats) its excellent and gives a wet look to the metal.

I wet the wheels first, then hot soapy water on Mit to get to the inners, then rinse well with cold water and leave to almost dry, then dry.

At the moment I'm using 'Dragons breath' wheel cleaner (until I finish the bottle because I hate the smell of it) a Meguires washmit and a couple of wheel woollies. These are class for getting to the backs of the wheels, and a very soft material.

Have to say I've used Bilberry and Meguires wheel cleaners, both with excellent results.

The Romanians do mine each week as part of their £5.00 hand wash.

(I just know that some of you will have almost choked on your coffee at the very thought of paying someone to clean your Zed)

Ah but Bill, my Zed is my daily driver so I'm treating my daily no different than you do yours. My car is no concours contender (although it's better looked after and maintained that 90% of Zeds that I see).

As a matter of fact, I've had it done this morning. They do a good job as you can see, even blacken the tyres and do the door shuts

Mine don't get very dirty as I wash the Zed regularly. So soap and water only with a wax once a year.

This is the first set of alloys i have used the Poorboys brand of wheel sealant and i am very impressed. So easy to clean the brake dust off. Fully recommend this product

My Zeds standard 5 spokers are easy to keep clean because I can get my hands through the spokes quite easily. I use Autoglym's wheel cleaner, or Halford's Alloy cleaner.

I'm about to put some 10 spoke 104's on that I've had in my garage for nearly 6 months now, but they look like they'll be ok to clean
