which gear?

Guys with my 2003 z4 2.5 i tend to drive off on level roads in second, and miss first gear.Using first for hills ect.Is this ok for the car or should i always use first ?

I would recommend always using first gear, you increase wear on the clutch by setting off in second as you need to “slip” the clutch more.
