Can anyone recommend a good but reasonably priced gizmo for mounting my mobile phone on the indide of windscreen so l can record a video clip whilst driving?

Hi Alan, I bought one last year on holiday and you can now buy them over here. In fact I saw some in The Range in Lincoln yesterday. I can't remember the name but comes in a green and black box. It has a "sticky" face which grips your phone. It isn't actually sticky if you understand what I mean

Hi Alan, I found my mount and took a couple of pictures for you. It is called a GripGo. You can stick it to your screen as you do a Satnav or use a weighted dash top one as I use.
It has adjustable tensioner on the hinge and is very sturdy. Hope this is helpful.

I use nokia cr-123, a bit pricey, but very well made. It can hold device up to 5.2 inch screen size. The mount can be placed that way so not to obstruct camera even in z4 windscreen. It also comes with self-adhesive disc you can put on dashboard so mount can be placed on dash instead of windscreen, but i did not used it in zed.
