Guys,

I'm asking for a mate.

He has an '03 Z4 3.0.

Offside xenon went, he bought a ballast, bulb and igniter but before he fitted them, he was told by a mate that a little loom wire may be the problem and he bought one from BMW for a tenner. Bingo it fixed it, he built the headlight, bumper etc back up and guess what.....it wont switch on again. Hes had it stripped a further two times and swapped out all three items but still to no avail.

Anyone familiar with what it may be or do you think he's just trapped a wire or something ?

Sounds like a Renault having to take half the nose off to change a bulb!
Did BMW hire French engineers when they too Bangle on?

Sorry but no actual help but I'd suggest getting it checked out by someone who knows electrics to avoid any electrical maladies...
