Dot's Z3 passed its MoT this morning :)
Could do without the advisory on worn rear tyres though :-q
That means we need 4 new ones, 2 for hers and 2 for my 5series :(
I'm having an interesting time comparing tyre web sites though.
http://www.tyrexpress.com and http://www.ctyres.co.uk are both looking good for Falkens
I know ZC had used ctyres - anyone else got any recommendations?

That annoys me as well Terry rather than having a quite word for silly little things they go and put an advisory on it, maybe they have been told to get tougher and list more minor things.

Hope you get your tyres sorted, don't think you will go wrong if you go for the Falkens though.

Can't help with the on line advice because we always go to our local Kwik fit and they very often have offers 4 for 3 etc.

Considering you need 4 I think I'd be inclined to make phone calls rather than the web, you've got some bargaining power there for that amount of money. :)

If you are in the midlands then give these guys a call http://bespoketyres.co.uk

I used them the last few years i was in the uk and he used to do me really good deals on everything.

Marcus is the guy there and you can tell him James (with the Black Z3M) sent you and hopefully he remembers me (I have mailed him to warn him) :) It's a family business and he's a super nice guy who takes good care of you and your car. I drove from lincs to Warwick the last time to get some new tyres from him.

He also sells rims (i got a set of replica M5 rims for my e39 and they were spot on) so worth an ask too if you're in the market for some new ones, all sorts or brands and types available from him.

Edit: I am quite sure his brother is up Manchester way for those Northern southerners who need tyres.

I've used Black Circles and Event Tyres and they are generally ok
Thanks Gaz - I'll check Black Circles but IIRC Events don't happen up here ;)

Thanks James. It would be lovely to pop down and see this guy but "North Britannia" is a long way away.
I'd need another set of tyres and a tanker full of fuel just to make the journey :(

I'll report back when my national tyre trawl has ended (-|

he sells on ebay too so might be worth a call and he'll get them to you.

Before using Marcus I used etyres.co.uk who come and fit them. good service too and prices were very good.

A recent EVO did a tyre review which is worth looking at. Contis came out on top albeit not Z specific.
