What is AV8?
It’s the name of a cafe at Cotswold Airport. I have done some write ups if previous events.
Ah, I thought AV8 referred to an aircraft so that makes sense.
AV8 = Aviate. As in Aviation. It's at an airfield.
If the weather is good I'll be going again.
Really easy going meet up. Last time there were lots of cars and some pretty interesting tales .
Also it's in a nice area for driving around with the top down. May even go on to Classic Car Hub again as that was just eye popping. (Not going to take my chq book tho)

Had a great day out on this today.
Watched the 2 seat Spitfire and Mustang get airborne at the London Cotswolds airport (every small airfield seems to called London, despite being nowhere near).
Interesting journey to the Classic Car Hub, including driving into someone's garden. Must look for a sat nag as when there is no phone signal the map thing don't work. Lotto winning cars there.
Lovely group of people with their Z3s.
Will def go again.
On the way back got caught up in the A34 incident from 11:00 this morning. Led @mwpe out of Newbury via the A4. We popped down to Aldermaston Wharf to save sitting for however long it would take.

Nice to see Adrian’s 3.0 fresh from the ZedShed. Lots of nice cars there. There appeared to be 3 car meets at the airport at the same time. Lots of Porsches and some Jags as well as the Z3’s.
