Zipping the back window in was quite easy the first time I did it around 10 years ago. I'd ordered the window from a german seller on the Bay. Was around £90 at then time IIRC.
New window came with the zip pull thing - I think rhe puller thing is a non standard size so don't try getting the puller thing from an old pair of jeans. Needs the proper one so make sure the window comes with one.
Anyway. 10 years ago it went in really easy.
But had reason to take it out recently. Some of the roof stitching was coming away so wanted to stitch it back up. Took the window out. Stitched the roof. Started zipping the window back in and all the rest of the stitching started popping. All just rotten. Well what d'y expect from a 25 year old roof.
Before spending money on a back window have a good look at the roof and the stitching. You might not get the new window in if the roof is rotten.
