Right, got a heads up from a Dutch mate of mine this evening about a company in NL making and selling new fitting kits.

New by Cabrioservice Memelink.
Fits all models.
Euro 289.
If you can still get them from BMW, they are asking Euro 651

Nope, spot on, ask @Jack Ratt, he has got non OEM kit and it works for him....

Thanks all. I've actually managed to source a hardtop now complete with fitting kit.
