Hi guys Mike Dent New member from edge of lake district.
I have a problem with my hood passenger side lock not clicking into place it was a bit iffy when I got the car 3yrs ago but had New hood fitted over this last winter and now no matter how I adjust the pin it won't lock at all. It looks to me like the spring inside is weak . Is this usually the problem and how easy is it to replace.
Hope you can help.

You may be able to adjust the attachment plate itself. There seems to be considerable adjustment available. May be a bit of trial and error though. Remove the top trim piece and take a peek while trying to latch and you should see where and which direction you need to go! HTH, JIM

Thanks for info I was not sure if UN screwing the trim was the way to go I have not stripped a soft top before and with it being New was a bit wary. Also never used a forum before so very slow . Thanks

Hi Mike from near Lincoln, welcome to a great forum for all you may ever need to know. My boss at work is heading your way next week in a camper van and I've seen him drive. Be afraid, be very afraid.=))

Tony.
