Hi, we have a Z3 3.0 which I have owned since 2001 and both myself and my wife have driven it as a commuting/leisure car over those years.

Now that we have retired and own a BMW 420D, the Z3 is rarely being driven, so we are planning on selling it in the near future I am afraid.

Hi Phil, welcome from me near Lincoln. My wife has a 420d Cab. and I have an E89 Z4. You sure you can't keep both and keep enjoying the Z?
Tony.

Funnily enough, my wife and I were just saying how lovely it is driving the Z3, but we are retired now and running two cars doesn't make sense anymore.

We too are retired Phil, all the more reason to keep and enjoy the Z. The 4 series is a means to get our cases to the airport.

Tony.

Sorry to hear you're selling. I have a mate looking for a 3.0ltr. An idea on condition mileage history would be worth adding here as would some photos??

We have a dog, the 4-series is our way of getting to our holiday destination, usually in Europe.
Depending on the size of the dog some will ride happily in the footwell @Alan Slade

 My dog loves sitting on the passenger's lap looking at the road ahead. Going to get him a pair of flying goggles so he can stick his head out the window.

My missus suggested we get rid of the Z. "We don't need two cars" she said. "In that case" I said "The Z's mine and I'm gonna do a rebody on it and you keep yer mits off it."

I will do some photos tomorrow. We have a full health check from BMW and we have just had £1600 worth of work done to get it through its MOT (corroded brake pipes, new battery, a few other bits.) I will put it in the For Sale section when I can. There's a bit of corrosion but obviously nothing important, and there are a couple of dents in the bodywork.

The Z3 has seen a few dogs in its time, we did have a cocker spaniel that sat in the footwell quite happily.
