I happened to look at all the Z3s for sale on AT the other day, as was looking at the £25k Sytner offering.
£1,200 to £25k and almost everywhere in between. That is a BIG variation, no matter what the specifics of the cars are.
3 Litres are asking £10k plus! 2.8s are averaging around £8k. There are a few 1.9s for £8k ish.
Are the bigger sixes really becoming that sought after, or are there a LOT of very deluded people around?
I think it may be the latter, especially when potential sellers see the ridiculous price of the Synter one. Easy to think your car should be worth somewhere near that if they are asking it.
The used car market is very slow in general this year and prices are falling. You can pick a decent M54 3 litre E85 Z4 up for around £4K now, so why the high prices of Z3s? I'm not counting the Ms as they are a different market.
