The sad time has come to sell my Dads beloved Z3 as many of you may know him on here. I thought I would offer it on her first before the usual Pistonheads etc. He would be thrilled to bits that a Z3 enthusiast on here got to love it like he did. Any question please PM me Lee
BMW Z3 3.0L 228 BHP

This belonged to my late father, he was a Engineer by profession and kept his Z3 maintained and reversed engineered whatever the cost. He purchased it in 2010 with 34000 miles from Cheltenham Auto Village, it had clearly been a dry weather car from the beginning. He has only used it during the summer months and always kept in a dry storage, in the winter it’s kept in a air chamber. Not seen a wet road in his ownership.
The shift pins on the gearbox have been changed to give a much precise and better change, he manufactured these and while the gearbox was out a new clutch was fitted as a matter of course.
The front suspension has been stripped and poly bushed with a full under engine belly tray fitted.
The rear differential is a weak area on all Z3 models having only 1 ear carrier at the back of the differential which over time can crack the boot floor. The ZM cars have a 2 eared differential so he obtained one and grafted into place with custom made mounts and welded into place. While this was happening the full rear suspension was re bushed, new rear springs brake pipes, and Fully painted.
Custom made butt strutt was manufactured under the floor locating all 4 corners together with full GEO, giving one of the finest handling Z3 cars available. There is also a top mounted front strut bar.
Perfect condition electric roof with the electric roof button has been moved to the front giving much easier use. Upgraded Sony CD/Bluetooth headunit with original BMW unit available.
Immaculate leather interior in blue and black with genuine BMW over mats but also with rubber mats so as new condition.
October 2022 it had a full paint correction, ceramic coating Angelwax gold plus package at a cost of £2000 (see video) then put straight into air chamber and not used.
All panels have been wax oiled including removing panels, sill plates lights etc to ensure full coverage and long-term protection.
