Hello everyone. Finally managed to get sorted on here. Have owned my z3 for over 2 years now. Just a little 4 pop 1.9 m43b19. Really looking for other z3 owners here in Scotland. I occasionally see some while driving around but very few and far between. I'm around the Glasgow area.
So my z3. What a ride it's been. Paid £1000 for it and had no idea about z3s at all. Have done a lot of work to it. Would have been cheaper to just buy a 2.8 with 40k miles in it but atlas. List of some of the work done to it. Radiator and expansion tank. I know I need to get round to pump and thermostat. Rocker gashet. Fluids all changed. New outter sills. New hood. Some suspension bushings and tie rods and control arms replaced. All 4 new calipers disks and brakes. Some brake lines done. New grills. Wing mirrors held on by duck tape needed new ones which is done. So the cars running OK. Still need to sort a few issues out. Have a leak on the gearbox and need to replace the flexing disk or ghilbo thing however you say it. Have a small Coolent leak I belive at the back of the engine at the plastic elbow. Have a slight ticking sound coming from the aux belt power steering pulley I think. Power steering rest might be leaking but only noticed that the other day and topped it up. Phew feel exhausted just thinking about everything lol well I hope to meet some of you this year.
