Are there any published figures for weight distribution % for the various Z3 models?

It depends on the car. Three Z3's down stairs and the only one with the axle limits is the U.K. import, Nothing on the Jap import or the N.Z. new cars. Providing the information may have been market specific.

Not on my vintage plate but I have found a page on the Web that suggests the 1.9 is 52/48 which is better than expected.

That's close to ideal, put a bag of sand in the boot and its sorted
