Z3M Air Box WANTED (or CARB compliant alternatives)

I just purchased an Evergreen 2000 M Roadster and the car didn’t come with the air box (someone had just stuck on a cone filter to the tube with the MAF.

does anyone have or know of a CARB compliant Air Intake? I can’t find anything that works with the S52 and I need it to pass smog. Thanks!

Have a look on Realoem and input your model details. Have a look at the diagrams for the air box part number and place that into eBay for your county or a wide Google search to see what comes up for a starter. I’m presuming you have the s52 engine, biimerforums might be more useful than here for looking at a more common M52 air box may be compatible. UK only has the S50 and S54 engines so I’m not able to offer much more info.

It's probably 90% UK, but is open to everyone.

There are regular posters from all over the world, and I know of parts that have been sold all over the world, including a hard top to Israel !!

We didn't get the S52 in the UK; just S50 and S54.
