Hello everyone!

Can this car in second gear wheels spining?Third gear?
Not cornering!On straight dry road!
Tire are almost new...


I bought a car recently and I wonder whether the car full power or not...

Personally don't own an M but I've heard others say they can spin the wheels through the lower gears. I'm sure an M owner will be along soon to confirm or deny

Are you joking? It depends on so many things .take it to a dyno that's the only way

Wheel spinning can cause a few problems:

Tyre wear

Boot weld issues

Clutch issues etc

In the dry with good premium tyres I would say no. In the wet or poor tyres then maybe however these cars don't have massive torque surges like modern cars and will need severe provocation to induce wheelspin through the gears (ie. dumping the clutch) which will have a significant impact on the drivetrain possibly damaging the rear boot floor which is a weakness on these cars when they are abused to this extent.

Excellent is 12-13 s?

Do I need to calibrate the TPS after replacement?
Sometimes a less throttle response!

Why do you want to wheel spin? You could cause catastophic damage never mind destroying your tyres?
