Hello!

My car sometimes(in 50% cases) don't have kick of power on 2500/3000 and again on 5000 rpm...
Vanos was rebuild before 15.000 km.

Any idea?

Have you tried a code reader to check engine codes

Solenoids seals?
Yep thats the ones, stand in front of the Vanos with the engine running and get someone to turn it off you should here a pist sound as the pressure releases if not then could be the solenoid seals

BMW OEM seals or?
This problem was also when the vanos is rebuild-immediately.
Mine was done in the UK by Mr. Vanos he doesn't use OEM seals as they fail, he suggested the replacement of the solenoid seals after approx 3 years and will supply them, keeping the solenoids in tip top shape keeps the PSI where you need it. If this problem was there after the rebuild then it may be a bad rebuild or another issue. Not really sure what to advise.

Bad timing?
But vanos test is OK and pressure is 100 bar in idle(warm)!Strange.

I will check pist sound..
Can I test solenoids-click with 9V battery and some wires?

There is pist sound(1-2 s)...
Well the Vanos is working at the correct or close to the correct pressure then so chances are your problem is elsewhere I'm guessing

Worth checking the camshaft sensor connector, is it plugged in properly or dirty or break in the wire
