Hi all, I am trying to locate an airbag for a Z4 steering wheel (E85/86) and wondering if anyone has one for a reasonable price.

Then I would have to work out how to seperate the actual X5 airbag from its cover and how to attach it to the Z4 cover (Southernboy has suggested one of the airbag dealerships for advise.)
Even this seems expensive for what it is
Hi Tony - yeah, but they are all ridiculously priced. The cheapest option I have come up with so far would be to buy an airbag for X5 (£40) and then buy a Z4 airbag cover - these are £80 on their own !!!

Hmmm, tempting - theres one there for $300 which is roughly £200 but even that is more than I really want to pay - I guess I will just have to wait till someone isnt looking at the Derbyshire meet

I think a commercially shipped and declared item would be fine... I just can imagine the conversation over the contents of your bag should they get nosy. Anything in a personal bag which has a form of explosive in is gonna get you a very intimate search!
