Coming up to proper Roadster weather now, so carrying on the theme with wind blockers for various models of Z's Redline and myself are looking into producing a clear Acryllic panel for the wind blocker between the head rests of the Z4 models, E85 and E89. I already have one on my car and we're in the process of making a template for the E89 models. These will be held in place by 4 clips securing the panel to the frame.
We will be able to offer engraving too.I haven't yet been able to pin down the exact cost but just asking for a show of general interest in these items please. I have one already on my car as shown here, showing my forum name at the top and the Roadster legend at the bottom ( the Roadster legend is only a decal at present but it has an engraved finish to show how it will look on the finished article).

I would be interested as well. Can always keep one in the storage in the boot to swap out at different times of the year

Yep I have got a Perspex one at the moment, this goes across the headrests but not that good, would be interested in one for the E85 Tony
But do you need a BMW one in the first place for these and the clips to hold it between the headrests as in the picture above?.

Hi Jim, yes you do. I've seen some at very reasonable prices now and again.

Nipped accross town this lunch time, roof down and road tested the panel and clips up to 50 mph. All good, hope to get normal road speed test done over the weekend. Sunday looks promising :)
