Z4M
Hi all,

I want to retrofit my Z4MR with cruise control. I've been doing LOADS of forum surfing and if I had anything other than the 'M', I'd be pretty confident about going for it based on the instructions that are out there. However, there seems to be some suggestion that the wiring is slightly different on the M. So far, I've yet to find any details on this. If anyone has the know-how, or has fitted CC to an M, then I'd really like to hear from you!

Admins: Not sure if this was the best place to post this - please move if you see fit. Thanks.

Thanks,
Dave

Hi Dave,

Just done a bit of a Google on this too. It appears there is no official OEM install for the Z4M. I concur that the wiring does need to be modified, but can't find any reference as to which bits of the loom need patching in to.

There seems to be a couple of garages which offer this as a service, but can't find one near you. Wondering if a company like this - http://www.motormods.co.uk might be able to sort it for you? I have no experience of them as a company (so not recommending them specifically), but they claim to do OEM installs. They might have the knowledge on which wires to cut in to...
