Now we're finally back here,

Having got some of the garden "tamed" a little since we got home I'm thinking of opening the Shed up on Saturday 9th. or 16th. November if anyone has some jobs to do on their pride and joy. Or, if not, just for a butty and a catch up. Let me know. I did a taste test on the butties just today with you lads welfare at heart.

Paul has an oil and filter change to do, does anyone else have something they would like to do?

Or, just a natter and general catch up and we can tell you all about our trials and tribulations. Let me know which, if either, date suits you best.

I could do with an oil & filter change on # 23 and suspect the pads and plugs would benefit from a change - the iDrive is telling me the service is not due until June next year but the paperwork I got with the car highlights it's over 12 months since the last was done and there is only 3,500 miles left on the pads

I used some time off from being an apprentice kitchen/floor fitter to get the Shed ready for Saturday.

Pit is dry, amazingly. If my 5ltr of oil arrives tomorrow I'll get my oil changed as the filter came this morning.

Oil at ECP is £49.50, on eBay £32.99, difference paid for the filter.

Got mine from Opie oils, is it me or as the price of oil shot up?

That Shell oil has not gone up much at ECP Paul. I was going to buy it there on Wednesday but their machine declined my card, which was odd as I'd just bough £60 of fuel at the Coop 5 minutes before. And it was fine with eBay 20 minutes later.

Would like to pop over if I may Tony, would like to take the BMW sport springs I've saved for mine off the struts from a scrapper. Can ditch the struts then.
Also have a knock from the rear (rebuilt) which sounds like shock top mounts which were new. Need a beefy helper, or 7 stone weakling will probably suffice, to lift off the hardtop to access them.
