Few of us are heading down to surrey rolling road to get some print outs:

Oldguysrule - 2.8 M52 (base line before the manifold swap)

Flimper - Z4MC S54 (last done 6 years ago)

It's also good being nosy seeing what other cars put out on the rollers.

If anyone else would like to get on the rollers its £40 they have a couple of spaces free still. You book a half hour slot which gets you 3 runs.

Pity we are looking for something this weekend it's just not worth putting my 1.9 on its slow.
Only just back from France anyway.

Be good to compare it against a standard 2.8. I'm having to take his viscus fan off as its stuck on all the time.

what are the symptoms of a stuck on viscous fan? Mine always turns with the engine?

The really loud whooshing noise making it sound like a tank. It should just free wheel with the engine until it reaches a certain temp when the clutch engages.

They've moved to Farnborough, the last time I was there they were actually in Surrey!
Id have to get my passport out to cross two counties for this

Outrageous isn't it, luckily for me I've moved from Surrey to Hampshire

You left it too late to get your visa application in though Dino... so you would have been stopped on the M25.
