I'd be careful with bumpers.

I think they add to the car, but they are only cosmetic and add a hidden length to the car. If you bump them, you will damage the bumper and the grp bodywork they are attached to.

They would be much better if they are attached to the actual car, then it is only the bumper that will get damaged.

I'm not sure about that Tribute 250s but the California 250s bumpers are mounted to the Z3 chassis and not the grp bodywork. They are mounted on the original Z3 bumper mountings so perform the job required in protecting the bodywork.
