Hi William,

i believe that they congregate around the Costa / Starbucks area and if the weather is inclement they retreat to Costa.
Seem like a good bunch of guys with some quite special Bmw's. They hold an annual show at Carrickfergus castle car park on the last Sunday in August. I haven't been, as it conflicts with a cycling event i've done this last few years but i'm planning on heading to Carrick this year.

The minor issues are very minor, new shocks, realign rear bumper, replace air inlet hose, fit strut brace and do an oil service. All small things and easy enough to do thanks to the great guides on this site.

Daz, Thank you very much for this information. Very helpful indeed. l will let you know how l get on next Wednesday. As l said, l live in Bangor, where abouts do you live.? Good luck with your repairs. Bruce has had a number of repairs in the last few years - new steering rack, new central locking system, new water pump, fan and radiator, new battery. Hoping for a period when no significant repairs are required!?!
My rear window will need some attention this year as it leaks a bit. If you hear of anyone who does good repairs, let me know. Drive safely! William

I've sent you a message William regarding the handbook.

Cheers

Brian
Brian,

I received the wallet and Z3 owner's handbook etc in the post. I cannot thank you enough for your generosity in sending me these. l had asked you to give me your address so l could at least refund your P&P, but so far l have not received it? I feel 'Bruce' is somehow complete now that he has his Car Owner's handbook in the glovebox.

I really enjoyed reading about your car, how you located it, drove it home to Scotland, repairs etc. My wife's family moved to Northern lreland in the early 1900's having lived for many generations in Sterling and Alloa. I think you live in central Scotland? Beautiful part of the world.

l have also made contact with the NI BMW Owners Club and l am attending my first meeting with them tomorrow evening in Antrim town. Really looking forward to meeting fellow BMW enthusiasts like yourself in person.

Thanks again for your kindness. I will not forget it!

Regards,
William, in Bangor, Co. Down
