Can you believe this ........ :p
I've brought all the stuff I need to do my roof ;)
I was really looking forward to giving it a really good clean ;)
But it raining , can't believe it , well I can , it will have to wait till next weekend now :(
But you've got to wet it to clean it haven't you, or is it a dry application? Get your wellies on and get out there, you'll love it.

It's really nice here at the moment but it's a bit nippy. I'm just going to take our Fred out, he keeps looking at me with his big doggy eyes as if to tell me to get myself off the sofa =))

Jill is about to start on a pile of ironing

It might be worth purchasing a light cover for the soft top, one that's easy to fit and remove, particularly if your car is driven daily. The green stuff is probably a result of your car being parked in a north facing position and near trees over the winter months - nice car!

I've got Milton to put on it first :p
To kill the bacteria ;)
Then all the other stuff to go over it again :)
But I've also just washed my hair and it will go curly in the rain ;)
And it's cold ;)
I'd rather do it on a warm day :)
Might see how the weather is in a couple of hours :)

I did buy some Milton :p
But I was frightened to use it just in case......... :)
I ended up with a white and black roof ( because of the bleach ) :)
I was thinking of using white vinegar =))
As its good for lots of things ;)
Maybe you didn't dilute it enough, Shelly, try Taffzee's recipe this time and it should get rid of it!! Good Luck!!

I cleaned my roof again on Saturday it took me 2 1/2 hours :p
First I done the Milton as @TaffZee suggested :)
Thanks it came up a treat :)
Then I cleaned and proofed it ;)
I wanted to dye it back black again but the shops round my way don't sell it :(
I'll have to ask Alan to get some for me on the Internet :)
I'm so pleased with it ;)
I don't feel embarrassed to drive it anymore ;):);):)

Do you know what else helped @t-tony :p
I even got my steam cleaner on it and it really helped :)
And my window kracher to take away the excess water ;)
Don't know if I done right or wrong using those items but it worked =))

Nice job @Shelly, the steam cleaner won't hurt the material nor will the Karcher!! Way to dig in and get it done! JIM
Thanks Jim :p
I'm glad the karcher and the steam cleaner didn't damage the roof =))
It's like new now :)

The steam should help kill the algae Shelly. Maybe you have found a new good idea.
