My prediction......
upload_2014-9-7_11-23-27.png

I have only just realized that you can change your teams and drivers, as this was not possible during previous seasons. Seems I have 5 changes left, so I am going to have to fire my hero the Ice Man and get rid of Caterham for the next race.
From this.

Yet another exciting race mixing things up again. The Lewis/Rosberg 1-2 helped me out point wise again :) Still clinging to mid table obscurity...

Nico Rosberg retirement due to foreign substance - Mercedes

Mercedes say Nico Rosberg's retirement from the Singapore Grand Prix was caused by his car being contaminated by a "foreign substance".
The team said analysis of the German's steering column revealed a residue of a material used in pre-event servicing.
This caused a short-circuit that led to the problems Rosberg encountered before and during the race with using his clutch and changing engine settings.

  • Japanese Grand Prix: Typhoon a threat to race - Sergio Perez
By Andrew BensonChief F1 writer
Force India driver Sergio Perez says Sunday's Japanese Grand Prix may not go ahead if Typhoon Phanfone hits Suzuka.
The typhoon has formed over the Pacific Ocean and rain is expected for Sunday's race as well as Friday practice, with dry conditions forecast for qualifying.

Mexican Perez, 24, said: "The hurricane might come and if it comes, probably we won't be able to race."

Williams's Valtteri Bottas said: "There is a big chance of big rain on Sunday."

Felipe Massa, Bottas's team-mate, said: "I hope we can have the race and the weather doesn't affect us."

F1 chief meteorologist Steffen Dietz expects the race to be affected by rain and FIA race director Charlie Whiting has told teams he would discuss the possibility of moving the start of the race forward with F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone.

  • Lewis Hamilton beats Nico Rosberg in Japanese GP practice
By Andrew BensonChief F1 writer
Lewis Hamilton set the fastest time in second practice in the Japanese Grand Prix, beating team-mate and title rival Nico Rosberg by 0.24 seconds.

The two Mercedes drivers were in a league of their own, more than a second clear of the rest of the field.

Williams's Valtteri Bottas was third ahead of McLaren's Jenson Button and Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel at Suzuka.

The two Ferraris of Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso were sixth and seventh respectively.

But no-one looked like they had a chance of challenging Hamilton and Rosberg at the latest stage of their tense battle for the title.

Sebastian Vettel 'not running away' from Red Bull

By Andrew BensonChief F1 writer
Sebastian Vettel says his decision to leave Red Bull has not been influenced by the performance of Daniel Ricciardo.
German Vettel, whose expected move to Ferrari is yet to be confirmed, said: "I'm not leaving because I don't like the team or individuals. I'm not running away from anything.

"The voice inside, the hunger to do something new, was bigger."
Sebastian Vettel: Feels like right time to leave Red Bull

Red Bull announced Vettel's decision to leave on Saturday morning at the Japanese Grand Prix, with the 27-year-old informing team principal Christian Horner of his decision the previous night.
