Bloody stickers........HT lambasted me for having some dubious stickers on my car
We have a meet planned for Duxford, there is a thread on the go for May 3rd, with several people already down, meeting up at the John Barleycorn in Duxford Village, then convoying in.Incrediable pictures! Planes never entered my head until I joined tother side. Thanks to Koolflyer (Pete) they seem to appear as quite a regular event. Zed meets to Newark and castle Donnington last year and Duxford this year and hopefully some others to follow. Does Koolflyer frequent this site as well?
What times the meet at the John Barleycorn M and S? There's 3 of us travelling down from tup north. We could join the meet there. Tony.
???...You buying Spitfire parts now too Jimbo @oldcarman from an aviation site?......haha......He follows along but seldom makes his presence known. Please say hi from me when you see him and thank him for the generous parts he supplied me with, they are greatly appreciated. JIM
No HT, Pete had the back storage boxes, etc for sale on eBay and I wanted a set for my 58 190sl in place of the jump seat. Pete practically gave them to me for the cost of postage once we determined we were both on the Zed forums. Very generous fellow and greatly appreciate that generosity and think he is a real Ambassador for the cause. Don't think that they have decided on a time yet, Dave. We usually leave the John Barleycorn about !0ish! I'm listed on .net as I hadn't joined this board when Brian posted on there. The other two I'm coming down with are also listed on there. It's CB22 4PP Dave, you need to ask to have your name put on the thread, Dave, as Brian is wanting to put numbers in to BMWCC by end of March!

Would have given me the chills, my FIL was on the Lancs crew in WWII. Must have been a sight to see in person. JIM

'Manna from Heaven'.
Today the Lancaster has performed flypasts over The Netherlands to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Operation Manna.
She is seen here as she takes to the air this morning piloted by Flt.Lt. Roger Nichols and Flt.Lt. Matt Jenkinson.
Many thanks for all of you who turned out to see them over Holland.
