My 1998 Z3 1.9 is now running and driving great, just tidying up the last few issues before it goes for RWC inspection.

The front fog logs, side lights and drivers side (RHD) have all suddenly stopped working. When I bought the car all these lights worked without fault.

Passengers side lights all work fine, low beam, standard and high.

Indicators and high beam work on both sides.

I have checked all fuses and relays, they are fine. I am suspecting the headlight switch is faulty, but wanted to ask to see if anyone knew here.

Cheers

My light switch plays up occasionaly. Sometimes the right side lights front and rear don't come on. Push the knob in and pull back out and they come on.

But I never checked the fogs so I can't help with that. Front fogs shouldn't come on unless side lights are on so maybe if the switch is not switching the sides on the the fogs won't work either.

Push and pull the light switch a few times see if the sides come on. Then check the fogs.

Presumably you’ve checked the driver’s side low beam bulb as well as fuses and relays?

Fixed the issue, as per Jam03's comment I somehow missed a blown fuse despite checking them all (apparently)

This got the main beam working again but not low beam.

Eventually after I had taking out all the plugs I found a connector not fully seated, how this happened I am unsure as it was all working when I bought it.

All resolved and working now, going for inspection this Thursday.
