Sorry to be so thick but in the 1st thread it mentions "buy one ticket get one free" so do I order just 1 ticket at £50 or what. I don't seem to understand. Could someone please tell what I have to do. I thank you.?. :D

If you have used the discount code link in the first post you are buying...

1 x CCM PACKAGE

which consists of

2 x Adult Tickets and the infield pass

If it's Saturday only (like me) it's £50 + £3.75 booking fee

Hi Macca use the link to go to the Silverstone web site and then use the BMW Car Club booking code and that gives what I think they call the CCM package which includes two tickets and the VIP veichle infield parking which is the display package. If I get my computer back I will try and find the right links and put them on this post. As soon as I can .

Sorry to be a little slow sorting some of this bit overwhelmed at the moment.

Regards

Duncan

Just updated the Hotel thread (on Duncans behalf) and added both to it. I'm sure Ian will be along soon to update the first post here too!

I'm not sure if this has already been covered (I don't fancy reading through 8 pages of this thread) and I'm assuming the parade lap of the circuit is still on for the Saturday ? If so last year one of the biggest areas of confusion was with regard to the required indemnity forms for the parade lap ie no one could participate unless one of these was completed which resulted in a wrist band being provided as proof. This only happened minutes before the parade lap was due and was a bit of a farce with the guy riding around on his scooter shouting at people :-@

So would it be possible to arrange ways to get these completed in a more controlled / organised way:

- ability to download form and complete before / take with you completed (to avoid the "who's got a pen" situations)
- handed out on arrival for completion (lack of pens will be an issue)
- available at the BMWCC tent for completion (with plenty of pens)

People can then be advised how / when they will get their wristband (assuming these are still required).

Its one of those things that I think was unexpected last year and a little planning / awareness would make things go a lot smoother.

Apologise if this has already been dealt with.

There is a parade lap Jon, it's at approx. 6pm this year. We noted the confusion ref wrist bands last year - it was news to us on the morning of the event :-o ...so we want to avoid that happening again. We haven't planned exactly how we'll be better this time but we will be better this time!
