Colour of trim from vin?

Hi all
I am new to site so apologies if this is posted in wrong place, is it possible to find trim colour from vin as I need to order tome leather dye, and finding it a bit of a mine field help would be welcomed. Thanks Martin

Hi Stephen
It’s one of the light tans with the different leather in centre, I am not wanting to recolour more get it back to how it should be. I was told that you can get trim name from the Vin.

Sometimes yes depends on trim fitted i have 2 individual model and vin decode has trim as z1xx special vehicle trim.

You can always clip a small thumbnail size from under your seat and send it off for a colour match for Scuffmaster leather dye, I did this for my Oregon Beige colour in my Z3, they made a perfect match for me.
