i did wonder whether i would be better pulling the stitches out myself...i did the same thing with a kitchen knife while chopping spuds, though you went one better as i only had 8 stitches do your self a favor and dont go back and have them removed as it hurts, your better off removing them yourself like i did, didn't even hurt this time (this time being the word as its not the first time for stitches)
