Press and hold the mileage reset button as you turn the key to illuminated the dash WITHOUT starting the car.
Test feature pops up and provides data of the last 5 of your chassis number, very handy if buying a car with a lost V5.
Dashboard part number, diagnostic on cluster version.
I saw the build data for the Cluster as in week of the year, mines 4500 so week 45 of 2000, 6-12 November. The cars showing a badge under the bonnet of Feb 2001 so I wonder what the time span is on building the car.
You can press on to more tests but I didnt. I did see it stores error codes which could be handy for someone..
