can anyone confirm the spline bit size please is it 6mm 12 point spline or 8mm 12 point spline.?Thanks mate. They are 6mm stainless bolts with 6mm spline head. Spline rounded out, T45 tapped in and rounded out. May be a drilling job but will be hard. Would've been better if it had snapped off.
Tony.
thanks i found a spline bit whilst looking through my tool kit yesterday, dont know if i trust it but it does fit...They are 8mm Al. I found a long bit best but have the wheels on the car and stood on its wheels.

this was a rear and i be doing the other rear next... i just hope they all come out successfully...i love to get them looking as nice as yours... thinking on polishing the lip and painting the inside of the wheel bright chrome silver, and the hub where the wheel bolts on undecided on colour yet...Thats good news, however I have done 2 sets of split rims and on both sets the fronts have been fine and I have encountered problems on the rears, hoipe you have better luck
i was gonna ask if they could balance them for me too.....I'd like to see the look on the tyre fitters' face if you turn up to have the tyres taken off those rims without centres.
thanks @hard topLooks like a job well done there @handsomejackuk
You can remove the centre section without effecting the tyre, just remove the bolts and knock it outWill have to see if I can remove the center of my split rims without them deflating. Suppose I could just let the air out of the tires before starting.
meantime it will be highly appreciated if any one from you can give me more details.
