I had looked into that, and yes that seems like a solution, ATM I have just left them disconnected. but it is something I will look at down the track.... Another trick would be to take a feed off the actuator side of the flasher unit. the DRL,s draw very little current, I'm sure it wouldn't mind...Your indicator issue may be sorted by changing ( or converting) your standard thermal flasher unit for an electronic one.
Cant guarantee this woukd be a fux but may help.
