A very long way, however high the bonnet is when it's open it reached that. If I had the bonnet shut I probably wouldn't have seen it and there would have been a lot more of it no longer in the engine. Covered absolutely everywhere, but gave me an excuse to give the engine a clean. Must have spent 7 hours cleaning it up =))

Guess you are fitting an oil temperature gauge, the oil pressure seems fine!:)

Yes it works great, just need to tidy the wiring and get the outside temp one sorted now. Might get a couple of new sensors, that one used to be my outside temp one and I only tried it for the oil temp as I thought it wasn't working since swapping to the new car. Shouldn't have bothered.

Yes the oil pressure is certainly fine, came out that fast I'm surprised it didn't put a hole through the bonnet.

I did the ///M gauge fit to my last zed the outside air temp sender sends totally the wrong signals and miss reads i had to swap the sensor still plugged in the stock place but fixed it .
Good job the bonnet was up that could have been nasty if you had ran it round the block !!
An excuse for a clean if i ever saw one
