What replacement would you recommend ?.
Quite a few choices to look at such going for the quad option as @yocky z3 2.0 did or stay with the twin tail pipes but bigger diameter.
I'll be fitting a Simota air intake soon, courtesy of @Jimmy Weston so that will compliment a new exhaust as well.

I may go to a local Mr Tyre branch who are agents for powerflow to see what they can do.

Any suggestions appreciated.

Steve.

Just want something that sounds good and looks nice as it sounds like a milk float as standard.

Have a chat with Ant Steve, his sounds very nice and it's not too loud, I can vouch for that personally.

I had power flow rear boxes (two with double pipe) fitted to my Z3 a couple of months ago for £370 all up. Very satisfied with them and lifetime warranty. Cheaper options are likely available but I think you generally get what you pay for.:)

Biased maybe but i love the sound of mine and it does seem to get a few remarks when we're out on cruises with peeps. Problem is I don't know what the hell it Is!.
Powerflow seem popular but liking the option that Ant has suggested and the price seems very good mate.

Cheers Ant,I do like how yours looks and sounds tbh.
Just my personal thoughts though it's a tad too quiet from inside the car but I guess the problem is if I went louder, then you risk the drone noise on motorways ?.

Yours is quite basy when I've followed you and also sounds nice.
It is a shame you can't see a manufacturers name on it though.

Depends what you want Steve you could go single box if you want a little louder I suppose. My aim was really a sportier sound without it sounding too loud.
It was originally having one box but advised I wanted it to be like the original, I liked the sound of the bmw stock exhaust it just looked poor with it's tiny pipes.

It's looking like I'm going to have to see what my local Mr tyre branch can do with a powerflow cat back system,as I don't have time in the week and they're open Saturdays.
Hopefully I'll visit them this weekend.
