Exhaust manifold for M52 2.8

Don't get me wrong I do understand your logic as I intended to do the same to my 2.8 and I did the manifold mod on my M52TU28.. But after weighing up what it would cost to get it upto M performance it was just cheaper to upgrade to an M...

From what I researched I think the only way to get the most from your 2.8 would be to fit a supercharger .. But that's big money..

Thanks Daz, just tried them...seems not....just got reply from 'Motorsports Down Under' that they can supplier...but am a bit nervious of parting with my money as not sure if I would get it back if they dissappeared...but seems no option...unless custom made??? any reccomendations? probably silly expensive...

If you pay with a credit card you should be pretty safe. If it never arrives and they stop responding then just issue a charge back and you'll have the money back.

Curently trying two tacs in my 'Quest for the Holy Header'....my mods part suppliers knows a similar guy in Australia who will look into it and buy on my behalf ... also have a Japanese girl in my office who has contacted a motorsport friend in Japan who will search around Japan trying to find one...will let you know if i get anywhere...

The only option was Motorsports down under so depends if your are willing to take the risk or not. I did not sonstill have the standard header.

I would have thought that with massive scene for tuning the e36 328i you could find somone who had made headers for the 2.8 in that.
Might be different space available in the Z3 when it comes some to meet the cat? Although I thought our cars are e36 front end mainly.
but they might have experience or able to customize it to suit.

Just to add to the security of credit card payment, if you use PayPal you'll have double coverage. If PayPal denies you then have your credit card company to fall back on? JIM

There is a large nich in the marketplace then for someone much younger than I to take this by the scrotum and run with it. How about @machine monkey? Could you fabricate a set of headers for the 2.8 motors and then expand your business to encompass all the Zed lineup and more. That's how the big American boys made their millions. Then go stainless maybe! I'm in for a set for a 1.9 and I'll bet @windym would be too!! Just a thought guys that want to get rich and retire early!! You may not get as big as Headman Headers but just maybe?? JIM
