Just adding to Mikes last post. The hotel situation is quite difficult as it looks like we needed to book at least 20 years ago but if people would consider twin rooms this does open up a few more options, and believe me, 4 nights without a hug is possible LOL :ymhug:

To be honest I'm not fussed if the first option is easier for routing and handy for popping into town thats fine by me.

Pauline and I have stayed in a Camponile previously (Calais) and it was ok. Bit basic but clean and comfy but will keep the cost down, so our preference would be the 1st hotel. Liking the fact it is near the location of all 3 sites and has the town close by if we fancy a walk out for a drink or alternative eatery.
Is the plan for people to book their own crossing and hotel or will you try to get a discount for a block booking?

That's a good question. The prices quoted so far were based on a double room so assume it's for two people, it didn't indicate otherwise, but we can double check that.

Have used Novotel in France before and found them very comfortable and good value facilities for the money, so that one (link No. 2) would be our choice.

Sandy & I have also stayed in a Novotel in Bayeau about 3 years ago and like you, Shaun, found them to be very good value. Although the Hotel grounds look nice, our only concern was that being on a Business Park, there would be nowhere for an evening stroll without getting the cars out.reddyzeddygo said:
