I guess Liz liked the pie too Dave?

Tony.
She did Tony - high praise indeed coz she is an excellent cook. Think you may have a few more for the meet (and pies) in September - better tell the pub to get a few more cows in :)

Have I got you on the list yet Dave, any others will be most welcome. Paul and Julie have asked me get specific orders this year as I think we took them by surprise last year so nearer the time I will be doing that.

Been a busy week again, I've had my wheels (108's) at work and in between jobs have been tidying the insides of the rims before they go on the car. They're ok on the outside for now, I hope to get them properly re furbished in the future. I've got 3 done and 1 left to do next week.,

We're now leaving work 30mins earlier so when I got home today I fired up the heater in the garage before having lunch. Next came a quick flatting off of the grey primer on the spoiler before applying the Sterling Grey base coat.

These last 3 were after the final coat of colour.

By now the wind was howling and so I didn't want to risk any dust being blown onto the clear coat so I brought it inside to the"oven" to bake it overnight ready the clear coat tomorrow.

With luck the wind will be lighter tomorrow and I'll be able to get this job finished. Another one ticked off the list. Next comes the brake painting, so the old Z3 will be pressed back into service as my daily drive for a few days/weeks? Started today after 3 weeks, sweet as a nut.:)

Looking forwards to getting this fitted Steve, only downside is car out of action for 1 day and reduced speed for another, but I still got the Z3, it's not all bad.;)

Short term pain for long term grin factor
I don't know how you're going to cope going back to the Z3 but I'm sure you'll manage .

Reduced speed for a day - just how fast do you go?
It'll be worth it though. :)

Err Tony, I know how much you love your Zeds, but isn't sleeping with your new spoiler taking things just a little to far?

Got some clear coat on the spoiler today but didn't have to time to complete the job, so during next week I'll get some more and flat it off before final coat(s) next week end. Looking good so far.
