Yes Grumpy, we think you're right, the pain memory is still fresh and like the actual pain, hopefully it will fade soon too, like you she developed bilirubin. Poor Kate has had a terrible time over the last two and a half years as she was diagnosed with Autoimmune Haemolytic Anaemia (The body destroys itself by the white blood cells attacking the red ones) she had 8 blood transfusions, 7 plasma exchanges & Rituximab (Chemo for Leukaemia) The final solution was for her to have her spleen removed. While she was beginning to get back to normal, she ended up in absolute agony with a kidney stone, which they tried to take out, only to find it was infected, so they inserted a stent, then finally removed it two weeks later. So we could not believe when she developed a Gall stone, but her Haematologist said that it was caused by the great amount of dead red blood cells from when she was haemolysing.
A long disastrous story, Dave, which we hope will now be behind her, several Zorg members have been very supportive of both Kate and us during this time and we are grateful for all their kind words
