Guys I know its a big ask but I thought someone near Andy, @spurs fan in a coupe could help him get the inner sills off a breaker, I need them for my 2.8 project, I could patch them but would rather fit the whole bottom half, If he where closer I would do it myself, all I need is the outer skin, they are heavy grade and will be tough, Andy has got a lot of the work done and IMO a spot weld drill bit would do most of the work,

A 9" angle grinder would make short work of that but on the downside Andy's neighbours might not like it. I have a 9" grinder you could borrow if we could get it there.

Tony.

Agree mate a 9 inch would give the depth of cut required, I might take you up on the offer and head down there but it will mean an over night stay

If you need it Sean, let me know. Only thing you'll need to get are some thin cutting discs, it's a "slow start" machine so easy to handle.

Tony.

ps. Worth it to see the new "Sean mobile";)

How urgent is this Sean, I am a bit busy for the next few days but I could go over and see Andy and have a look. I have got a big angle grinder, I have just measured the disc and it is 7". I also have a spot weld drill. He only lives about 10 miles away.

That tool was originally bought as a polisher when I rebuilt my GT6 and needed something to polish up my not very good spraying. It turned out to be an angle grinder as well with a 7" disc but without the guard on it will take a 9". Not recommended but it works. :)
