That's good then. Would be interesting to see what prep he does beforehand, and if that stops you having the same issue!

Ooooh, does he fancy doing some prep work on a set of alloy panels

He goes on holiday tomorrow I can put you in contact with him when he's back, he's not cheap but his work is very good.

The current surface isn't the worst brushed ally surface I've seen, it seems to be very lightly brushed. The bigger problem is that it's really soft and has marked badly around the handbrake area. Not sure what the previous owner did to it...

Have considered and discounted leather already as it's supposedly quite tricky getting the edges rolled thin enough to tuck behind it, but that would have been my preferred solution.

@Rally I've had issues with the vinyl rucking up in places, I'll take a picture later to show you. I think you can by some vinyl primer which should help stop it doing it.

I know your not keen on carbon Gaz, I dipped them tonight and will clear coat them tomorrow, I don't like the satin finish carbon wrap that you used, I much prefer high gloss like you find in modern cars,

Guys, I like carbon fiber wrap but I think the carbon wrap thing is about to be out of date very soon, it's appearing on hand towel dispensers in toilets in Crete.

It is a an automatic hand towel dispenser to be fair.

Only a matter of time before its toilet seats etc and then people start saying it feels like their toilet when they get in your car!
