This is part of the cycle of cars, I know as most of mine are 60 years old. At first the manufacturer makes the parts, then they dry up, then someone else sees the demand and takes over, he makes a batch and they eventually sellout so become unavailable again until someone else realises just how many cars are left and makes a new batch. Usually in the middle someone finds a close match from another car and they fit with a bit of modding. Eventually it comes down to some small-scale enthusiast or restorer somewhere making them by hand from sheet metal.Spot on - they’re not available now but were at some point. Rather annoying but this is what we face when we have cars in their third decade.
