Lee,

Are you going to LeMans 24h or LeMans Classic (as that seems to be growing as event - been there 4 & 6 years ago - as it's an event organized only every 2 years)?

You mention that you have adjustable Koni's.
Are those the yellow ones?
I am thinking of going that route.
What is your opinion on them?

Regards, Koen
I'm going with a group from the Pistonhead forum. We are driving to the Le,man Classic and staying Thur-Monday. Should be entertaining as I'm the baby of the group, they are a mix of TVR's, Nobles and an F-type.

Comparing the set-up on my M to my older standard 2.8 its a totally different drive. The Koni's give you such confidence in the car when handling at speed, at the moment I have them on the softest setting. They soon will be swapped out for some BC coil-overs though. And yes they are the yellow ones. If you are local to me feel free to come feel for yourself.

As for the Hayward n Scott exhaust the sound is unreal! I have not heard a louder BMW yet. Real loud rasp to it. Off the top of my head i think it was around the £800 mark for centre box back (aka the rear boxes)

Think i have covered all the questions :)

Welcome, the wrap glitters like the sun off the 4 ft of snow in front of my house. Very nice, would love to see it in person. Is wrapping expensive? Not really taken off here in Canada. JIM
Missed one :)

Depending on the type of wrap you want the prices can range from £800 - £2500 It all depends on what type of wrap (3M or Hexis) and the finish (Pearl, matte, etc)

Its something worth doing if you want to transform the look of your car.

Basingstone...that is UK, south-west london, correct?
Would be interested in the koni's if/when you would swap the koni's for something else.
Although I don't know if those would fit my 2.8 Z3
The rear axle of the Z3M is the E36, mine is the E30-type

Yeah they would fit. My understanding is the M had a slightly beef'ed up suspension compared to the smaller engined zed. Still running the e30 rear trailing arms. I'm sure someone can confirm this. :)

maybe it's the coupe that has the E36 rear....thought there was a Z3 that had it.
Suppose someone will/can confirm.

So then again, I may be interested in your shocks when you remove them.

Hi Lee

Welcome to the forum. I am also going to Classic Le Mans in my Z3M Roadster this year. My 4th CLM! I will be staying on the Pistonheads campsite so will look out for you. Which ferry will your group be taking?

We are on the 7:29 euro tunnel slot. We have booked a chateau 10 minutes away from the circuit. This will be my first trip to Le'man. I have done a trip round Europe a few ago but never in a proformance car. Really looking forward to it.

Le Mans Classic is something special.... and it keeps growing.
We've always been in the Maison Blanc area. Just next to the circuit :)
