Keys locked in boot.

Yes, the Z4 is different. When the car is locked you can unlock the boot independently. If you do this and leave the key in the boot and close the lid you leave the unlocker in the boot, and as the car is locked you cannot access the boot release button in the car.

I have to unlock the car on my Z4 before I can unlock the boot with the fob. It's a right pain (right up to the moment you put your key in the boot and shut it ;)). Same on Gail's. Wonder if there's a coding option somewhere.

On the F30 it unlocks the car too when you unlock the boot.

Mine has always been that way. Could be a coding issue @Chaz Ricorn ?

Another good reason to favour the Z3; "progress" I assume.:whistle:

Yes you could just change the coding. Still hadn't sorted a spare yet. Every time I use the boot I keep checking I have the keys in my pocket.

You can change what each fob button actually does so I would assume it is a coding issue.
