I cannot respond about a colour as my choices are I’ll advised. Go something wacky like Boston green

No, it's only the screen and the rubber around it is very plyable and easy to pull back and mask. Might be going chrome surround anyway if I can find one!
Lowering advice more than welcome
For lowering I went coilovers to get down quite a bit. If I was going comfort I’d have gone eibach with either bilstein or the ones Sean is using (damn forgotten the name- damn that midweek Merlot)

I like these kit build threads, but I have a couple of questions, first - was it a narrow body? and second were the rear wings any good ;):)

think we need to encourage more of these builds, that way we will have a never ending supply of parts no one else wants =))

I have front and rear face lift in Black that I need to sell on here (cheap-ish) and a bonnet.

Sills were binned as dented by previous owner

So primer went on last night, couple more coats this afternoon and then wet flatting at the weekend (I Love a bit of wet flatting).
I have now committed to a colour! I was actually doing my own head in looking at every car I passed and thinking uhmmm that's a nice colour! It's going to be love it or hate it. No I am not going to tell you =)).
Adjustable coil overs and wheel spacers arrived yesterday. I know the coil overs aren't the best and someone will probably say why did you buy that c**p! =)) they are Stance + Street coil overs, a budget way to drop the height a bit and put new suspension on her was my thinking. Cost so far without paint, exhaust, wheels and tyres (Going to stick with stock atm and paint them as the tyres are really good) is £7315.04. So am looking at around £10500 without wheels and tyres and not touching the interior or tuning.

One owner is going for a wrap I think. Be interesting what the quality is like and longevity.

I’m having paint first. I believe wraps work better over a decent paint job. Wrapping gel-coated grp sounds like a problem waiting to happen.

My Friday night was spent in the spray shop until 11.30 and all day until gone 12 on Saturday.
Even had my dinner there 2 nights on the trot.
Wet sanding the primer after putting some stopper in places that needed it.
Hopefully tonight/tomorrow night will have it ready for base coat after I have done my day job!
Knackered is an understatement.

That’s some commitment, hungry now now though after seeing those pizzas.
I gave in Mark. Thinly sliced Cathedral City Cheddar and two bags of bacon fries.

Tony.

It didn't happen! but i did get to open the tin of paint and see the colour. didn't look the same as the paint code I asked for but will probably look different sprayed compared to the stick colour.
Maybe base coat and lacquer today/tomorrow and why is the spell check on here in American? Colour has a U in it =))=)). so this is how I left her last night with the insides masked off ready to flash in the door shuts.
Oh just another thing It's coming home it's coming home footballs coming home cmon England.
Does anyone know where I can get a chrome front screen surround from and the wood finish that goes from just behind the gearstick surround as this and forward are already done.
And here's another picture of Pizza seeing as it went down so well last time20180630_192808_resized.jpg .20180705_182719_resized.jpg 20180705_182708_resized.jpg 20180317_165537.jpg
