So what you're saying is that you're actually taxed for whatever time your car is driven on the road? Here we pay an annual registration fee. Its(in New Jersey, every state is different) a one time fee paid once a year based on your car's weight. My Mercedes costs more, almost as much as my pick-up truck, but not as much as my Honda del sol. I have another question. I was writing to miller and his wife and I, in my text, gave him a hyperlink to a you tube site. When I clicked 'post', the hyperlink turned into the you tube video screen. I thought 'Wow, that was easy'. I wanted to upload some pictures. How do you go about doing this? Thanks, Frankie.

The road tax over here is also paid annually but also an option for just 6 months and is based on the vehicles emissions over here, the higher the CO2 reading the more you pay and any vehicle less than 99 g/km you pay nothing.

With respect to pictures if you click on "Upload a File" button at the bottom of the posting window you can navigate to a file on your PC to upload to your post. Oh and you can do it the photo bucket way too as above.

Hi all , just wondering if anybody else have taken their Z for a MOT and the garage wants to see their LOG BOOK, I've asked why and he said it's to do with the PERSONAL PLATES, ( I've had same plates for 18 months and he didn't need log book last year ) THANKS :thankyou:
I spoke to a friend who carries out MOT's.

They have no right to see the V5 and have to test the car as presented, even if it presented without an number plate.
When I told him they said it was for checking the age he fell about laughing.
