Only looking at the pics on my phone but it seems they don't look good because of the muddy state of the tyres. Good wash will improve things quite a bit. 108s are the only thing I'd swap my 135s for - How much were they?
I'm split between refurb and replace.
I was the same Ian refurb or replace.
Clearly replace has the cost and the speed from a refurb company that does it day in day out.
Refurb your self. You need to find a set at the right price and them come up with a plan for them.

That was my second option Steve, I've always liked bright silver rims and black centres since F1 cars had them back in the day. When I was a hard up apprentice I used the paint my wheels the same way, got a great look for a fraction of cost. Dunlop Revolution wheels looked good in the same fashion.

They'll look fantastic on your black car.

Tony.

Thanks mate I do hope so.

Thanks Steve. I just need to decide on the tyres
All I can comment on is what's on mine.......Accelera budgets on rear and Hankook on the front which give me good feed back through the Steering and are very grippy......so far .

I've always been ahead of the curve. Still maintain the 108's are one of the best design wheels fitted to a BMW.
But what tyre manufacturer and model of tyre should I go for

When I bought my Zed in 2008, it only had 21,000 miles on the clock and was still on the original Dunlop SP sports. They lasted while and always felt good, I have always replaced with the same and never had any problems with feel, grip wear or tramlining.

I have bridegstones. Really good! In wet and dry :) not sure on the exact sizing etc as car is outside and im not :wacky:

We buy our tyres from tyreleader.co.uk. Theu deliver to your door and then you just take them to get fitted. Cheaper than buying in normal garage or tyre places
