Welcome from Warwickshire. We love Dorset, a great part of the country. :welcome:
yes Dorset is a beautiful county, we been living in Bridport now for 23years (aka bits of Broadchurch), but living locally for another 10 years before that. Dorset is a great to go "topless" with some really nice coastal roads. hard to beat is the coast road between Bridport and Weymouth.

We have taken cottages around Lyme Regis for a week regularly in recent years. Last year for the first time we had a convertible (not a Z) and the weather was terrible.....only managed one topless run. :(

@Gail Bet that gave the locals something to smile about when sipping the cider.. lol..

@Derek Dorset Welcome to a great community that is ZRoadster.org If you are free this Sunday, please come along to the fun in the New Forest. We should be having a laugh and a good drive around with a few stops. Let me know if you want to be added to the growing list.

All the best from Winchester.

There's a cracking little pub on the west road out of Lyme Regis called "The Volunteer", and just outside Lyme Regis is the Cider brewery where you can buy "Jack Ratt" scrumpy.

Can you explain what scrumpy is please!
It's Cider, but in it's traditional "raw" form and not the refined drink that is usually commercially sold such as "Strongbow" or "Bulmers". It's traditionally made on farms who have their own orchards

Its called Falling Down water for a reason.. One or two good glasses of Scrumpy Cider will sort you out @oldcarman as I am sure @Jack Ratt will support me on.. The cloudy straight from the farm is just the stuff. Just beware you will have a hangover in the morning.

Sounds delicious! Reminds me of our Newfie Screech which is made from the dregs left in the barrels. There's a reason why it's called Screech as that's usually the sound you make after a few ounces

I did a walking holiday in my younger days. The idea was to walk from Salisbury to Bath, we made it as far as Devises .. The camp site was next to a farm where they made scrumpy and sold it a £1.00 a gallon in clay jugs.. We stayed four happy days at that camp site lol..

Welcome from sunny ( earlier so I polished my Z ) Derbyshire. Then it looked like rain so back in the garage.I agree,I much prefer the lines of the Z3 to the Z4 although the newer less angular ones are not too bad.
Have a good day,
Ken.
